Watch your coverage climb, before and after

A coverage check reads one posting and shows how much of what its screen weighs is already on your resume, term by term, with the gaps named. Then you personalize, and we run it again. The score climbs, not because anything was invented, but because your real, matching experience now shows up in the words the posting uses. Before and after, side by side, is the honest version of “ATS optimization”: a number you can watch move, built only from experience you already have.

How it works

How it works, step by step

  1. 01

Score your current resume against a real posting

We extract the specific terms a posting's screening setup is likely to weigh, from the posting's own text, and check each one against your current resume. The result is a coverage score with matched and missing terms shown side by side, each missing one carrying the points it would add.

  2. 02

Close the gaps from your real record

The anti-fabrication writer surfaces the experience you already have that speaks to the missing terms, re-emphasizing real bullets rather than inventing new ones. A gap it cannot honestly fill stays named as a gap.

  3. 03

    Re-score and see the climb

We run the same check on the tuned resume. Coverage rises as your real matching experience becomes legible in the posting's own vocabulary, shown as a plain before/after, for example 61% to 89%, with the exact terms that moved from missing to covered.

Before and after

Watch the same resume cover more

What this includes
  • Your score shown before and after each pass, side by side
  • Matched and missing terms side by side, each missing one worth points
  • The climb comes only from real experience surfaced, never invented lines
  • We confirm the posting is still open before a check runs, so a credit never lands on a closed job
Where this stops

Coverage is our own read on how much of a posting's language your resume covers, built from the posting's own text. It measures whether the screen can find your relevant experience, not what the employer will decide: a higher score means you get read, not that an interview is coming. We do not look inside any employer's system, and we will never tell you a coverage number equals a callback. The climb is real and honest; what it buys you is being read, and that is the part we can stand behind.

The reason the after-score is trustworthy is the anti-fabrication writer: every point the coverage gains traces to real experience it surfaced, with the change shown and explained.

Questions, answered

Questions about see your coverage climb

What is an ATS coverage check?+

It is a comparison between one job posting and your resume. Meridino extracts the specific terms that posting's screening setup is likely to weigh, from the posting's own text, and shows which are already on your resume and which are missing, each missing term with the points it would add. It is a read on how legible your relevant experience is to that posting's screen, not a prediction of whether you will be interviewed.

Does a higher coverage score mean I will get the interview?+

No, and we will not imply it. Coverage measures how much of a posting's stated language your resume covers; it is about being read, not about the employer's decision. A higher score means the screen can find your relevant experience. We show it as a before/after because the movement is honest and checkable, but we never equate a coverage number with a callback.

How does the score go up without adding fake keywords?+

The climb comes only from real experience you already have, surfaced in the words the posting uses. The anti-fabrication writer re-emphasizes bullets already in your record; it does not add skills or numbers that are not there. A gap it cannot fill from your history stays named as a gap, and your before/after reflects that honestly.

Will I waste a check on a job that already closed?+

No. Before any coverage check runs, we re-confirm the posting is still live at that moment, not from a cached status. If it has closed, the check does not run and nothing is spent. Postings do linger after roles fill, so this live re-check is what keeps the disagreement about how often that happens from ever costing you.
