Workable is a recruiting ATS with an add-on AI layer called Workable Agent. Per Workable’s own product page, the Agent "evaluates candidates against up to 14 criteria specific to your job," with named examples including authorization, salary, hybrid days, and certifications. Each criterion is scored independently, then normalized to a 0-100 scale.
Workable’s page describes every applicant being "scored against the spec, not the pile" the moment they apply, with "obvious no’s filtered automatically." The recruiter, not Workable, sets the rules: Workable’s own language is that the employer configures "sourcing parameters, screening thresholds, engagement rules, and scoring weights" themselves, per job. Workable also markets Workable Agent as aligned with the EU AI Act, ISO 27001 and ISO 27017, and SOC 2 Type II certified, and states it scores job criteria and qualifications only, with protected characteristics excluded by design.
Workable's own product page is the source for what Workable Agent can do: up to 14 criteria, a 0-100 normalized score, configurable thresholds and weights. It does not say which of those criteria a specific employer actually turned on, how they weighted them, or where their threshold sits. That is the employer's own configuration inside their Workable account, and no tool can see it from outside, including us.
Because each of Workable's up to 14 criteria is scored independently, do not leave a screening-relevant fact implicit. Workable's own named examples include authorization, salary, hybrid days, and certifications; state each one explicitly wherever the application asks for it, rather than assuming a resume mention covers the question.
Since Workable states obvious disqualifications get filtered automatically, an application that omits or hedges on a hard requirement (a certification the posting requires, a location or hybrid expectation) risks being read as a clean non-match rather than a borderline one. Answer plainly, even when the honest answer might not be what the posting hoped for.
Up to 14, per Workable's own product page, through its paid Workable Agent add-on. Each criterion (named examples include authorization, salary, hybrid days, and certifications) is scored independently, then normalized to a 0-100 scale. Which of the 14 a specific employer actually uses, and how they are weighted, is set inside that employer's own Workable account.
Workable’s own product page states that "obvious no’s" are "filtered automatically," and that every applicant is "scored against the spec, not the pile" the moment they apply. The recruiter sets the screening thresholds and scoring weights that decide where "obvious" starts; Workable’s page does not disclose the exact rule any one employer configured.
Workable markets Workable Agent as aligned with the EU AI Act, and states it holds ISO 27001, ISO 27017, and SOC 2 Type II certifications. Workable’s own page also states the Agent "scores job criteria and qualifications only," with protected characteristics excluded by design. These are Workable’s own claims about its product, not an independent audit.
